Surface preparation and industrial coating systems—applied to your spec in our Magna shop.

Sandblasting

Structural steel, tanks, pipe, equipment, and fabricated parts—we blast to spec so the surface is clean and profile-ready for coating, whether we apply the finish or you handle the next step. We take oversize full semi-truck loads and can receive up to 10 tons in a single hoist.

Industrial metal coatings

We apply industrial coatings to protect steel and concrete in demanding environments—everything from water and wastewater to fuel storage, bridges, equipment, refineries, power plants, and general heavy industry.

If you already have drawings or a coating specification, we’ll follow that. If you’re not sure which system fits your job, that’s normal—contact us and we’ll walk through what you’re trying to protect, where the piece lives, and what your timeline looks like, then help you sort out a sensible path forward.

Application is done in our temperature-controlled shop with proper curing. When inspection or standards matter, we align with what your package calls for—including prep in the same workflow when that makes sense.

Epoxies & barrier coats

Epoxies are the workhorse for tough, thick protection on steel and concrete—common on structural steel, equipment, and shop work where you need a strong middle layer or full system.

We put a lot of Macropoxy 646 through the shop for maintenance and fabrication customers (think high volume and repeat schedules). The exact product and thickness still follow your job requirements.

Zinc-rich primers

Zinc primers go on steel first on many engineered jobs—they help protect the metal under the rest of the paint system, especially when the spec calls for that extra layer of corrosion resistance.

We apply them as part of the full sequence so the primer, next coats, and cure line up the way the system is supposed to work.

Alkyds, enamels & topcoats

These are often the outer “finish” coats—color, weathering, and appearance, on top of the primers and build coats underneath.

We time them so they go over a dry, compatible surface and cure in a controlled environment, same as the rest of our shop work.

Tank linings & chemical-resistant systems

When something holds liquid or sees harsh chemistry on the inside, the lining is doing real work—not just paint for looks. We apply the lining systems your spec or engineer defines.

Prep, staging, and cure still happen in our shop so the job stays consistent from start to finish.
